This image was taken as I wondered Yosemite's valley meadows, awestruck and exhilarated. The January morning was frigid with a sense of quite expectancy for the sun's warming rays to slowly wash over each glistening surface. The crutch of snow beneath my boots and a gentle trickle of water between icy grasses were the only signs of life, all else sat motionless. My steps came to a sudden halt as I came across this reflection. Grandeur emerged with silent might from the misty morning waters. It was as though I had stubbled upon a window that shown forth a realm almost too beautiful to fully take in as a small human.
