Behind The Lens

Location

I was coming out of the Ruby Mountains in Elko, Nevada.

Time

It was afternoon, we had decided to head back because it was dumping rain up in the mountains... Nevada is quite flat otherwise and as we exited the canyon could see nice light off in the distance.

Lighting

Wet concrete, dark clouds above and contrasting sunlight in the distance is pretty much my favorite thing.

I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for this kind of light during rainstorms

No, this is a single exposure... Perfect OOC. Which is why I love this kind of light.
