Designer: Elaine's Couture
With Isabeaux we reinterpreted the "Portrait of a Lady" attributed to Moretto da Brescia, opera on canvas dated around 1535 based on the lady's clothing. The dress is made of silk with velvet decorations and inserts. The geometrical black partition coincides with the opulence of the sleeves, which are three meters wide, patiently distributed in folds and puffs. The heavy green velvet backdrop recalls Florentine portraiture of the mid-16th century, while the light resumes Raffaello's lessons. A little curiosity: in the photo the eco-friendly scarf replaces deliberately the zibellino fur present in the painting; It was a habit of the time to use this kind of fur, richly decorated with filigree and stones, as an "elegan anti lice".
