Female Ruby-throated hummingbird. Photo was taken at Leffis Key on the southern end of Anna Maria Island in Bradenton, Fl. A large flock of these hummers stopped here to re-fuel on their migratory path northward; apparently because the weather on the way up was not conducive to their flying.
