Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a walk through a butterfly garden during a local festival.

Time

I remember I took this photo around 3pm. It was so hot out, probably 95° in the middle of April and the sun was so bright.

Lighting

Bright sunlight diffused through some mosquito netting.

Equipment

iPhone camera. No other equipment used.

Inspiration

Many tourists try to chase around the butterflies so it’s hard to find one so relaxed. This little guy and I sat together for a few moments.

Editing

Any post processing or editing was all done through the settings adjustments on my iPhone photo gallery

In my camera bag

My phone is my best camera; I love candids and often find my larger dlsr distracts and doesn’t allow me to be as free range and I’d like. I rarely shoot DSLR. I usually have a 35mm or HOLGA in my bag.
