This young lady did not go into a session with me with any idea that the result would be as beautiful and raw as it was. This photo is a perfect example of the innocent, natural, raw beauty that exuded from her. The goal was not to be seductive, but after I realized the talent she had, I wanted to capture it in a unique way. You may notice that the focus is actually on her upper hand - that was purposeful. It was an artistic choice representing the idea that she is unknowingly seductive. Focusing on her hand would seem to "take away" from the subject of the photo (her face) - for focus is meant to draw your eye to what is significant - yet it almost does the exact opposite. The secondary meaning is that even the simplicity of a positioned hand has an innocent, seductive grace.
