The Southern Double-collared Sunbird is a local bird in the Western cape and coastal areas. This photo of the male was taken during a recent visit to Langebaan in the Western Cape during a recent visit. They are "hyper-active" and consequently difficult to photograph. This is a reasonable shot that was slightly cropped and noise removed due to the high ISO setting. (BJE_9106CS)
