"From my heart, everybody is welcome, everybody. I don't care, maybe you white, black, everybody come. We are all human beings. Blood goes into our veins, so we are all human beings. I've no problem with anybody, so I don't show difference in my heart." Despite the tremendous challenges in his life, Skate Soccer player Mohammed Abdallah spoke these words to me. Mohammed is disabled from his waist down. Mohammed was so friendly with me and welcomed me with such love.

Skate Soccer in Ghana is a game played by the physically challenged who use locally made skateboards to support them. Many of the people who play Skate Soccer earn their living by begging on the streets of Accra, Ghana. There are still stigmas towards the physically challenged in Ghana, who face several challenges, so this makes it harder for them to integrate into a normal lifestyle within the society. The aim of Skate Soccer is to get them off the streets so that they stop begging and rather, get proper jobs. With proper jobs, they will also get more respect from the society. Skate Soccer in Ghana is an initiative started by Albert Frimpong.
