I met and connected with so many people along our route, but some certainly stood out more than others. This petite Nepali woman carrying a basket nearly as large as herself was on her way down the pass so that she could refill and repeat the journey. Spry and enterprising, she tapped my camera, then proceeded to hold her hand out for rupees.
I had disregarded the shot, since it wasn't well lit or as spontaneous as I usually tend to prefer... but it stayed with me. I honestly hope to run into her again when I venture back.
