I was trying to take a macro shot of these blue flowers in Kek Lok Si temple in Penang, Malaysia when this olive-backed sunbird came to harvest some nectar. Quite a lucky encounter, especially since this species is endemic to the neighbouring Philippines and is rather rare in Malaysia.
