Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken from the balcony of an apartment. I am a self thought photographer and love trying new things.

Time

It was about sunset when i saw my binocular reflecting light beautifully and wasted no time and chilled the picture.

Lighting

I wanted my viewer to feel the depth in the image and notice how the image of the construction building is flipped on the screen of the binocular. I never saw a photo like this, so I thought this would be a new original idea to share with the community.

Equipment

A used a Canon EOS with 18 - 55 mm lens and just focused it manually on the lens. The binocular was on a tripod and my camera handheld.

Inspiration

I was looking at the sunset with my binocular and discovered how unique and splendid the reflection on it looked, wasted no time and got my camera to make a few clicks.

Editing

Not much, just pushed the contrast a little.

In my camera bag

Normally a Canon EOS with a small lens, 18-55 mm and another lens with more zoom, mini tripod as it is handy.

Feedback

Just be yourself, look out more often and be original, be you.
