This shot was taken in my living room with natural light only. This was the first shot of our shooting and more a warm up for the rest of the day...Time
This shot was taken in the midtime of the day. The sun was very bright and so we decide to go a little bit more deep into my living room. So we can use the beautiful natural light but without burning her face to much.Lighting
Avoid too much direct sunlight. Use the very charming soft light to push her beauty but without burning her away.Equipment
I use a Nikon D810 with a 50 or 85 mm Sigma Art lens. This is a combination that always gives me some save shots on a shooting.Inspiration
I want to show her outstanding perfect eyes and the shine of the warm sun in it.Editing
In post processing i correct the colors a little bit and use some dodge and burn to give the picture more depth. Also i use sharpening for the eyes but maybe this was a little too much and i will reduce it in the future. In my camera bag
Always in my bag there is some music stuff and chocolate for the girls. This is much more important than all other things. Of course you need batterie packs and memory cards but when the model is not in a good mood, you will go the hard way.Feedback
Try to use sunlight but not the direct light. Use a windows to cover or go a little bit in a shadow place. Play music on the shooting and push the model in a good mood. Communicate with her, tell her what you want to show in the finished picture. Work together, tell her what you want to capture. Also the frame and crop.
