I had hiked up to Yosemite point for sunset, which was Not an easy hike as the Last 1.5 miles were still covered in snow and the trail was nowhere to be found. Due to these conditions i missed the actual sunset Up there and disappointedly hiked Back down to the campground with only My headlamp to iluminate the path.
About halfway down i came across this stunning view: Yosemite Falls in the left, half Dome Well detectable in the mountain chain above the Valley, which was lit up by campfires and street lights.
Later on the hike down My headlamps battery died, so that i had to hike the last half mile with only My Smartphone as a lightsource, which was almost empty as well.
It was quite an experience.
