Desperate for some R&R, I ventured to the nearest place where I could buy a donut and a cup of coffee--really, they're essentials. I then drove about ten miles out the road to the Shrine of St. Therese in Juneau, Alaska. As I opened the paper bag where this glorious pastry awaited me, I closely examined its detail and decided to have a 45 minute photoshoot with it to capture its essence during golden hour. It's backdropped by the Chilkat Mountain Range and Lynn Canal.
