Hope was a rescued 3 year old White German Shepherd.She had been beaten, starved, chained in a dark basement, & was afraid of the outside. When she came to me, I could count every rib - she weighed a mere 44 pounds. Hope did not know how to play. (she was afraid) It took time, but with lots of love, compassion, & attention from my other fur babies, she finally came out of her protective shell. How could anyone, harm a being full of such gentleness that is evident in her eyes. She is now at the Rainbow Bridge. <3
