I arrived at the lake just before sunrise, and wanted to be able to capture my first sunrise.

Being inexperienced I was overexposing most of the time. I had a Circular Polariser, but it's way too big for the lens, so just held it in front and prayed!

I waited until the sun was just over the handrail and grabbed this shot.
