Location
This was shot at NITK Beach or Surathkal Beach, Mangalore.Time
Sun was just setting down and these beautiful waves started crashing down on the rocks.Lighting
Tried to give it warm feeling just to showcase the beauty of the sunset.Equipment
Nikon D5100, 18-55mm, Benro T880 EXInspiration
I think this was the first time when I tried to capture long-exposure shots. So setting sun in the background, wave crashing on these small rocks - what else do I need to inspire me. :)Editing
This is one aspect where I spend less of my time. I just do some basic processing required for and RAW images in Lightroom. Once that's done, I'm good to go.In my camera bag
I have my D5100 as camera body. 3 lens - 18-55mm, 35mm, 55-200mm. I primarily use the 35mm one for 90% of my images. Apart from these I just bought one Cokin Filter pack and my Benro tripodFeedback
Nothing specific though but few pointers here as I have learned from the field - 1. Don't go above 2-3 seconds of shutter speed of seascapes. 2. Always go for either remote or timer 3. Do manual focusing or focus stacking.
