Gáisene, a mountain massif in Porsanger, Norway, is the almost continuous wall of tall, steep mountains separating the fjords in the Laksefjord and Porsangen from Finnmarksvidda. This photo was taken in January, 1 week before the sun returns from it's two months absence. It was cold, 25 degrees below zero.
