Location
In deepest darkest Lincolnshire in the UK on a very dull but pretty autumn dayTime
It was after lunch time the children had just eaten so we headed out to hunt for crunchy leaves to jump kick and lay in. We found the most gorgeous row of autumnal trees with oodles of just what we wanted. The children were in their element. I snapped so many wonderful images from this session showing how fun leaves can be. We ended up staying afew hours, we sat reading throwing hiding jumping and relaxing in them looking up at the clouds and finding animals in them, they were the perfect mattress to hang out on.Lighting
We had a really over cast day so the lighting was very soft yet pretty I was so lucky.Equipment
My camera was my canon 5d mark ii the lens I believe was my 24-105L (I LOVE that lens!)Inspiration
Happiness......the children honestly had the time of their lives, this is a genuine smile, she loved them so much, as did I watching her and her brother.Editing
To be honest the colours were so perfect I didn't need to do much, I did add a slight Matt, which is usual for me, I had a play with it in photoshop and just liked it on the overall image, I masked it off the little girl slightly and that was it basically. In my camera bag
Always always that lens and my dream boat 70-200 2.8L, along with a lip balm, batteries for the flash I never use and packet of mints.Feedback
To be honest this session was about the kids, their fun and capturing moments they'll look back on when I'm long gone and their skin is wrinkly,
