A rainy morning left the Yosemite Valley with heavy cloud cover during the first weeks of April, 2017. After a downpour, a pocket of light opened up over Half Dome as the clouds migrated across the meadows behind me. I knew I had minutes to capture the parts of Half Dome that were visable.
