For 3 months in the year these birds come to land to breed, they become strikingly marked with their colourful bills. Theyre so photogenic that it's easy to get carried with snapping...I must have several hundred puffin shots from the weekend trip to the Farne Islands. With the other shots the number will be up in the thousands but the place is incredible so it's worth the wear on the shutter mechanism. This one reminds me of Mondays a little confused but still staring life in the face.
