This Photo was taken right in My Kitchen. I had Garth out on His perch while I was washing dishes and noticed the sun shining through the Window. Turned around and looked at Garth and ran for My camera. I am a self-taught Photographer who has been taking pictures since the Day I could hold a camera and shoot.Time
This Picture was taken around 11:00 A.M. As I said, I had Garth out on His perch. The sunshine was coming through the window and I turned to look at Garth and His coloring was Magical. I took the shot and downloaded it. Then I had it put on a 20 x 24 Canvas and hung the magnificent colors on My wall.Lighting
As far as lighting goes, all I used was the Sunshine and Garth's Vibrant Colors.Equipment
This photo was taken on My Nikon D-600, using an AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm Lens. I shot it at F/3 at 1/80th of a second. No other equipment was needed.Inspiration
I am a Photographer that sees so much Beauty in The World.....When I see that I just Shoot.Editing
This particular Photo I happened to hit just right.... between the Sunshine coming through the Window and it Shining away on Garth's Own Vibrancy there was no post-processing needed. I downloaded it and had it put on a 20 x 24 canvas print. I hung it on the wall, along with many many other shots of Garth and My African Grey Willie. In my camera bag
The first thing I put in My camera bag is of course My now Nikon D-850. My favorite traveling Lens is My AFS Nikkor 70-200mm 1:28 GII ED Lens.Feedback
If You can see the Beauty in Something don't lose out on holding onto that Beauty Forever. Shoot it right away. Patience is also a Virtue....I was home during an incredibly snowy Day and I have many many Cardinals in My Backyard. They happened to be hanging out on My deck this Particular Day. I watched for awhile and noticed they were on the ground so close to Me that I literally could touch them. I ran and got My camera, opened the sliding glass doors ever so slightly, put the lens out as much as I could without getting it wet and laid down on My stomach with camera in hand. After laying there without moving for about 45 minutes, I was able to capture the True Beauty a Red Cardinal..
