If you ask a woman to tell you her life history, it might be difficult. If you ask a woman to tell you the history of her hair, she can describe that easily. As a girl, hair takes on incredible meaning. The place where I live, is determined to lift the hair from our necks with it's wind every time we step out. We wonder why we bother fixing our hair, when the wind is happy to whisper down our necks. This is a double exposure of my sister, and my grandmother's pot of lavender.
