Location
This picture was taken at Aira Falls in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, UK. A very enjoyable walk with a lot of steps!Time
About midday, it was I really miserable wet rainy day, very overcast!!Lighting
With it being a dark, overcast, rainy day and not a lot of sunlight, it was ideal conditions to be able to use a slower shutter speed to get the desired effect with the waterfall.Equipment
Nothing! The camera I have is a compact zoom (LUMIX TZ70) used on a manual setting, I used a rock to make the camera stable, while using a slow shutter speed. It's a great camera you can just put in your pocket and take great pictures!Inspiration
I really like waterfall pictures with that silky white water look. And I was in awe of the size and force of this waterfall and I was really pleased with the result as this was my first waterfall picture.Editing
No, apart from adding a water mark.In my camera bag
I am just a beginner at photography so I always carry my Compact Zoom (LUMIX TZ70) camera in my pocket!Feedback
As a beginner I watch a lot of videos on YouTube on landscape photography, and lots of practice and going with your gut instinct when a opportunity arises to capture an image.
