When I saw that this was Bratislava my heart skipped a beat. My mother was born in Klechanef (spelling) and her aunt (my grandmother's sister) lived in Bratislava. When my mother's family was taken by the Nazis my uncle loosened boards and jumped the train outside of Bratislava. He made it to my great aunt's home and her family and my uncle hid in the woods for 4 years. They made it to the US after the war. I have heard many stories of Bratislava but never saw a picture. I hope to see it myself someday. Beautiful. Thank you for this.
