Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Scotland on a trip during college. It was a study abroad for about a month just exploring Scotland.

Time

Surprisingly it wasn’t raining or misting for once. It was one of the most beautiful days in Scotland that I can remember. It was mid afternoon and we had been driving for hours to our next destination when we needed a break and just happen to stop by a castle.

Lighting

I just like how the water light up the castle and showed natural light.

Equipment

Canoe rebel 3ti with an 18-55mm lens.

Inspiration

I love exploring and traveling. Nothing would make me happier if I could do it for a living. I love ancient castles or anything that seems to have a history to it.

Editing

Not really, I bumped the contrast up and left it alone after that.

In my camera bag

Great question, I usually have a few lens, a wide angle adapter, my camera flash and a ring light.

Feedback

Take your time. Images don’t just come in one take. My professor once told me sometimes you need to tell your baby it is ugly (in the picture form) in order to take a better picture. I have stuck by that advice when photographing.
