Humayun's tomb is located at Opp. Dargh Nizamuddin and Near of old fort, Mathura Road, New Delhi. Humayun's tomb (Humayun ka Maqbara) is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. It was built in 1565 A.D. nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. There are several graves of Mughal rulers located inside the walled enclosure, the main tomb of the Emperor Humayun, which houses the graves of his wife, Hamida Begum, and also Dara Shikoh, son of the later Emperor Shah Jahan. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent.
