Wonderful style!! In my own personal opinion the extreme clarity and HDR look applied to the image removes the natural expression and feel of this male lion. Wild animals imaged in their natural habitat should convey emotions of surviving the brutal turmoil that nature truly is. The lion in this image speaks to me from a life of luxury as a pet, not one born and struggling to survive in natures brutal bush. This is simply my opinion only! A critique is what makes us all better artists, to take a critique positively without being offended. Everyone has different views of the world and there should be no harm done in conveying so!! Amazing photo! It looks so interesting! Could you tell me how did you got that amazing effect of smoothness and faerie look, and so clear and sharp image at the same time. A have a couple of years experience with Photoshop but never try and achieve such effect. Which tool/setting is the secret? Thanks in advance :)

Thank you Steff, It's hard for me to tell all the details from my workflow. This pic was actually just a test, with many techniques.Starting from Dodge & Burn, Topaz Detail and Clarity, the oil-filter and smudge painting. Regards Harry
