This is the third of the four waterfalls of Perino (Val Trebbia, Italy). It was February and the waterfalls were still partially frozen, but the ice was starting to melt. The scenary was outstanding. This waterfall has two steps with two pools. The main waterfall can be reached so close only in winter thanks to the frozen water. I went through the fist pool, climbed the wall and reached the second pool. I walked on the ice and reached the waterfall. Then I placed my tripod and, hoping for the ice not to brake, I took several long exposures with a 10ND filter. This is my best one...a 30 sec exposure that made the surface of the lake like a smooth and turquoise mirror.
