The space for this church was hacked out of a big rock in the center of Helsinki, Finland. It was designed by the brothers Suomalainen (which, translated, means "Finnish"), and finished in 1969. Planning started already before WWII, but everything was postponed when the war started). The ceiling is made from over 20kms (12,5mi) of copper wire.
