As it was an opportunistic photo and I was fairly new to photography I really didn’t pay much attention to the lighting. If I could redo it I would definitely pay more attention to those highlights in the background.Equipment

This boy is the reason I invested in a camera. I love taking photos of him. He’s so photogenic. So whenever I get a new lens, camera, lights etc he’s my go to model to play with my new gear.Editing

My bag now consist of my canon 6d mii, 580ex flash, diffuser for the flash, spare battery and 85mm lens and my nifty 50. Depending on a shoot that I have things are added or swapped.Feedback
I think for this you really need a willing partner. I was lucky as he’s grown up with either my phone camera in his face and then later on my camera. When he sees either of them you can see the change in him. He really is a poser.
