Buttermere is a goregeous lake in the nort-west of the Lake District. There is a convenient National Trust car park at Honister Pass from which a circular walk around the lake starts.

We did the walk on a fantastic autumn day, with lots of sunshine. There was barely any wind, making perfect conditions for nice reflections on the water.
