The photo was taken 2am of a big August storm in 2016.Lighting
It was hard to capture the lighting with a still shot, so using the video was a good way to get the lighting.Equipment
It was taken with a Fujifilm Finepix S9900W. I could not take a still to capture the lighting, so I used the video to capure the strom and then take a still from that.Inspiration
The storm had started at about 11pm and run till dawn.Editing

Just my Fujifilm Finepix S9900W with x 50 zoom. This is good alround camera with auto and manual settings.Feedback
Using the video to capture the strom was a good way to get the lighting but you loss the resolution on a still shot.
