I knew that was Antigua. I was there in 2006. Have a number of photos in the day but none at night. Lovely photo. The lights and reflections in the water create an awesome atmosphere.

Nice shot - wonder what it would be like if rotated to keep horizontals?

Location
This image was captured in Antigua, Guatemala, after a quick rainfall.Time
My favorite type of photography is night photography or long exposure, so naturally I had to snap a few compositions while the stars were out.Lighting
Between 9-10pm early enough for the tourist to still enjoy what was left of the night life but late enough to where you still had to be very aware of your surroundings. The clouds made a good brake and the stars blanketed the sky.Equipment
I used my trustee Canon T5i, 11-16mm, f/2.8 Tokina, with Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
My passion for night photography got me out in the streets of Antigua.Editing
My post-processing involved Lightroom and a few adjustments using Google’s Nik for a washed out rustic feel.In my camera bag
I always carry my Canon T5i with Sigma 16-35mm f/1.8 lens and some light toys for light painting.Feedback
While shooting at late hours of the night, always be aware of your surroundings. If you are going to be alone (I do not recommend it), do not draw too much attention to yourself. Have your settings ready for your next composition. Take something to dry your lens with if gets wet from continued rain.
