A small red kaijak on his drive surrounded by a thin ice surface .., Are we perhaps in Norway or Iceland ?? ... .. Not even close! We are located in the heart of Tyrol, in the middle of the Alps. The "Thiersee" is a small lake that freezes in winter. In spring, when the ice melts, beautiful flower patterns are created in the ice surface, but only from the air to see .. :-)
