This photo was taken on my third visit to the Niagara Falls. In 2003 I visited the falls for the first time. I was alone. My girlfriend back then used to live on the other side, in Canada. 11 years later we got married and in 2016 it was our first trip there together. It was still the same difficult to take photos of the falls from the boat but this time I was well prepared with rain cover, wide angle lens and determination to take photos of my favorite place that brings back so many memories.
