Location
i took this picture on Skyline Drive in Syrie, Virginia.Time
This picture was kinda sketchy to take because there were so many cars on skyline drive that day. I took it a little after sunrise before the sun had time to melt the ice.Lighting
The sky above the tunnel was really bright so i had to tone it down and it made the image a lot more appealing to the eye.Equipment
i used a canon 80D with a fish eye lens. i didn’t use a tripod on this one.Inspiration
i was driving down skyline drive with my girlfriend and we saw that the tunnel had ice hanging down from it so we had to pull over to take a few shots.Editing
I used some post processing to tone down the sky above the tunnel. In my camera bag
i usually have my canon 80D camera and a Canon t3i. i have a 77 mm wide angle lens, 50mm portrait lens, and a fish eye lens. Also have some filters in my bag along with a tripodFeedback
Dont be afraid to stop in weird places to capture photos. Don’t be lazy “go out and create”
