Quirang Pass is a single track, paved road through the range in the north of Skye. It runs from Staffin to Uig and is considered dangerous in inclement and windy weather. We did not know this when we arose at 4 a.m. to drive to Uig to catch a ferry to the Outer Hebrides. It was pouring rain and windy. A very scary drive, but hey, I'm here writing about it . . .
