Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a creek in our area. Just running through the water, and i happened to get this shot. Unfortunately he recently passed on. He was an amazing dog, and he will be missed!

Time

I believe it was the early afternoon, quite bright out.

Lighting

honestly, at that point, i think i was just pointing and shooting (some time ago, after my first dslr, and the beginning of my photo journey!

Equipment

This was shot with Canon Rebel T3. that was my first dslr.

Inspiration

I really enjoy photography, and i am around my dogs and my kids a lot, so i am always taking pictures of them.

Editing

no post processing, but i may have had a polarizer filter on

In my camera bag

I carry with me now, a Canon 7d. 18-135mm - good range for everything. Also the 10-18mm wide - fun to use, comes in handy. As Well as the canon 75-300mm. Unless i'm going out knowing what i am going to shoot, i always have these 3 lens with me, and a flash for fill.

Feedback

For this photo, i was in the creek with my gear and 4 dogs splashing through the water. i would say don't be afraid to get in there to get a different perspective (when i am with dogs, i like to give a dogs perspective if i can). Have your camera close by at all times. Pictures are a part of History. Once you have taken the picture, that slice of time has passed. Now that he has passed, the pictures i have mean so much more!
