Port Boca Grande Lighthouse - Perched atop iron pilings at the extreme southern end of Gasparilla Island is found the beautifully restored Port Boca Grande Lighthouse - It was built in 1890, and abandoned in 1966. It was transfered to the State of Florida in 1988, and years later restored.
