Every May on the river Waveney you get a new hatch of the Banded Demoiselle,i go there every year to capture a few shots of this species.The males are blue with the dark bands on the wings and the females are all green. you need a lot of patients as they are very shy,a tripod and cable release is a must have to get the best pictures.

I was in the garden with my camera it was windy and this leaf fell into my pond so i took this picture.

I went to the beech hoping for a sunrise but time i got there it had clouded over so ended up taking pictures of groins using a long exposure.

I only came across this Longhorn beetle by searching in the under growth whilst taking photos of insects,they are rare to find.

This was taken last spring and one of the best Bluebell woods in my area i go there every year hoping for some good shots.
