This image was composed in Anza-Borrego State Desert Park. There is a great variety of cactuses in the park, but these small Barrel Cacti stood out and almost looked alien. The texture made for a great macro close-up image in black-and-white with dramatic contrast. Took with my Canon EOS 80D.
