Great Gray Owl - Newport, NH 03-08-17

I recently made my third trip up to see this amazing creature. I took just over 1,500 frames... yes... of one bird. I took some video that needs to be edited, along with a number of images I hope will come out fairly decent.
The lighting was tough as the bird stayed in the shadow of the forest for half of the 4 hours I was there, then it flew to another area where the sun was shining thru the sparse trees behind it. Made for challenging photography, as did the sun, clouds and the one front that passed overhead and yet did not rain on us all that much, while all around us the dark clouds dropped their heavy load.
