I like the Concept of Filling the frame with the Subject. in terms of that your composition is nice. The Photo is slightly off balanced with the Eyes and nose not running center of the frame. Its not too far off so its workable. The Focus point is what takes the wind out of the sails here. Always remember "EYES SHARP" unless your idea for this shot is the Lions Nose but the title suggests otherwise. good start I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
