This is a photo of Johnnie Mercer's Pier in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. It was built in the 1930's and rebuilt after Hurricane Hazel in 1954. This is a well known spot for fishermen throughout North Carolina and the rest of the country. This shot was taken at sunset as my husband and I walked toward the pier.
