During WW I .It was interment camp for mostly Ukrainian landed Immigrants that the Government thought that they were enemies In 1946 thru to 1979 the Castle Mountain was renamed to Mount Eisenhower in honor to general Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1979 the name was changed back to Castle Mountain
