How is this picture an actual photo! How do you do that. Where do you live? This photo is absolutely magnificent

Location
This is pretty obviously not an actual photo, but a digital art piece.Time
N/ALighting
It was already in the existing image. It became a by-product of the post-processing.Equipment
There is no equipment as such used in creating this piece. Unless you count the camera I used to shoot the sunset image which I took a while ago and resides in my Sunsets folder in Lightroom.Inspiration
My process is: Shoot anything that looks interesting. Don't limit yourself to one subject. And don't overlook your old stuff. In this case, I was browsing through my Sunsets folder in Lightroom and came across one that struck a spark. So I brought it up in Photoshop and let my imagination take over.Editing
This image is all post-processing. I began with the aforementioned sunset shot. I placed it in the top half of the canvas, leaving the bottom half free for the reflection. Then I used the Liquefy filter to create the streaked effect. Then dropped in the moon (a non-royalty GIF in Google images). Then I painted with a smoke brush across the horizon and the bottom of the moon to make it look like the moon was partly covered by the "clouds". After that the birds were added - another royalty-free GIF. The tree was created in Photoshop. (Go to Filters&bt;Stylize&bt;Tree). You can have a lot of fun with this. Just remember to create a new layer for every tree unless you want all the trees to move at the same time! The finishing touch is the reflection - done with a plug-in called Flaming Pear. That's pretty much it. Although there may have been some playing with levels and such that I can't recall right now.In my camera bag
A Canon 6D with a 24mm-105mm, a 16mm-35mm, a spare battery and charger, flash, small table-top tripod. All Lenses and equipment are Canon. I also have a Canon 70mm-200mm EF 2.8 L IS USM that I've hardly used and does not travel with me if any one is interested in buying it.Feedback
I would say, take a basic course in Photoshop, or just do it with tutorials. The learning curve is steep, but worth it. You can subscribe (if you haven't already) to Adobe CC for $10 a month (unless it's gone up since I joined). Start a folder (or folders) with what I call "Photoshop Parts" These are images or pieces of images that I think may wind up as part of an art piece somewhere down the line.
