More Than A Shopping Trip

A trip to the market in Pokhara, Nepal, was more than just for buying fruits, vegetables, dried fish, beans, and freshly butchered chicken; it was also very much a social experience. In fact, the woman holding her friend's child was so engaged in that conversation that I had to stand there for a few minutes, holding the basket full of product I wanted to buy from her, before she turned to me. But that was fine; I took the opportunity to snap some pictures.
