Behind The Lens
Location
In my house, Western Oregon.Time
Late afternoon.Lighting
All natural! The sun was shining through the windows, framing this sweet kitty with sunshine, and I used internal flash.Equipment
I took it with a Nikon D3200, and used the internal flash.Inspiration
I wanted to capture the kitty with her tongue out, licking herself, and the sunlight was perfect as well. :)Editing
I may have tweaked the brightness/contrast a bit, and saturated the image slightly. In my camera bag
A Nikon D3400, a Canon PowerShot (if I have to take a snapshot super quickly), a 50 - 300 mm zoom lens, which is my primary weapon, a zoom lens (which I fell in love with when I found out I could go really close to my subjects ;) ), a telephoto lens, and my basic (18 - 55 mm) lens.Feedback
Try something different! The best shots take patience, and I had to wait a while until I got the perfect picture of the kitty with her tongue out. But the end result was well-worth it! :) Usually, to get a good shot of a cat, you have to be patient, or maybe (for me, anyways) sneak up on them if you want a picture where they're not walking towards you for more love. ;)
