Location
Taken from glacier point in Yosemite NP.Time
This was taken early afternoon, I found that was the best time to get the least amount of haze, although there still is noticable haze, the valley had cleared out significantly by then.Lighting
Not particularly, its was harsh midday light I was working with.Equipment
Canon 6D with a 50mm lensInspiration
It's cliche but Yosemite was on the list because of Ansel Adams and others photos of the surrounding area. If you have the chance go check out his gallery/shop in the valley to see some of his original work!Editing
Yes, I tried to get rid of some more haze but left a little since that is the state of Yosemite most summer now.In my camera bag
Now a days, I still can't my trusty 6d but have gotten some better Canon lenses as well as some sigma. My go to ones are the 17-40 from canon and the 100-400 from sigma.Feedback
Landscapes seem easy but making sure your framing is good is the most important part. This can always be fixed with a crop but try and slow down to get it right in camera. I come from 4x5 film cameras so I try not to just load my sd card and hope I get the right one.
